Patrick Barry Barr
Born in Jamaica and was a Journalist at The Daily Gleaner before joining Kaiser Bauxite Company in St. Elizabeth. Migrated to the US in 1968 and received a B.A. in Journalism from University of Wisconsin-Madison; interned at The Wisconsin State Journal. Worked at the United Nations and UNICEF before joining AT&T Public Relations in 1977. Retired in 1996 and moved to Lima, Peru in March the following year. Published five articles in CounterPunch, called "America's best political newsletter" by Out of Bounds Magazine.
